Minneapolis Board of Education appoints 11-member Superintendent Selection Committee


The selection process for Minneapolis Public Schools next superintendent achieved an important milestone on April 5th with the confirmation of an 11-member Superintendent Selection Committee.

The committee, unanimously approved by the Minneapolis Public Schools Board of Education, is charged with evaluating qualified superintendent applicants and making recommendations to the board.

The Superintendent Selection Committee includes individuals representing a broad range of interests across the school community.  More than 150 people applied for a place on the committee.

The committee is chaired by Director Nelson Inz.
