Did you know...?

  • MPS serves breakfast at no cost to all students in support of student success. The Food Research and Action Center reported that students who eat at school show improved cognitive function, attention and memory in class. Students can perform better on standardized tests and improve grades.
  • Families may purchase meals for their children by sending cash or a check to school in an envelope that is marked with the student’s name and PIN. Payments can also be made online.
  • Each student has a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for school meals. This number remains the same each year at any MPS school. Ask your child if he or she remembers this number before the first day of school.

Make the most of the menu!

Encourage your children to try new menu items and to include fruits and vegetables in their school meals. MPS school sites offer breakfast and lunch meal options each school day. The lunch menu is available at http://nutritionservices.mpls.k12.mn.us/
