Minneapolis Board of Education thanks Student Representative Noah Branch for service
MINNEAPOLIS – The Minneapolis Board of Education would like to thank Student Representative Noah Branch for his service on the Board. After nearly a year, tonight will be Representative Branch’s final meeting.
As the first Student Representative on the Minneapolis Board of Education, Branch gave voice to those at the heart of the district’s work: Minneapolis students. Using his experience as a Patrick Henry student and leader, he offered a key perspective and provided thoughtful insights on the important decisions made by the Board. Most recently, Representative Branch served as a nonvoting member and advisor during the Superintendent search.
For his service, Branch will receive a $5,000 scholarship. A junior at Patrick Henry High School, Branch looks forward to continuing to serve as leader in the north Minneapolis community, especially in areas of gender, race and socioeconomic inequities.
