Minneapolis Board of Education selects search and community engagement firms for Superintendent search
MINNEAPOLIS – At its March 8 meeting, the Minneapolis Board of Education selected two firms to manage candidate recruitment and community engagement during its search for the next Superintendent of Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS).
Executive search firm DHR International, Inc., was chosen to manage the Superintendent search process. DHR has a proven track record of placing successful leaders in both public and private institutions. Recently, it successfully placed executives at both Meet Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Parks Foundation. Three consultants with individual areas of expertise will work with the Board and the selection committee to identify, recruit and screen Superintendent candidates. EPU Consultants, LLC, was chosen to manage the community engagement process. Founded and led by Radious Y. Guess, EPU Consultants is a Plymouth, Minn., firm with more than 10 years of experience advancing the role of engagement in schools and communities. EPU Consultants will work with the Board to facilitate conversations and receive feedback from MPS stakeholders throughout the Superintendent selection process.
