Enrollment planning email updates

• July 11, 2011: The meetings held in May and June were well-attended, with between 30 and 200 participants at each meeting. The detailed discussions captured the ideas of a diverse cross-section of MPS families and community members.
• July 26, 2011: As we wrap up July and move into August and the beginning of school, we wanted to update you on enrollment planning for Minneapolis Public Schools.
• September 14, 2011: The Enrollment Planning team has been very busy in the last couple months and we have lots to share with you. We encourage you to share this information with other interested community members as well.
• September 26, 2011: We have attached the proposed enrollment strategies that the enrollment team developed in collaboration with the community.  A majority of the proposed recommendations came directly from the eleven community meetings hosted in late spring and summer.   
• November 1, 2011: The enrollment team has completed its most recent round of community meetings. Each of the community meetings has informed the enrollment recommendations that Superintendent Johnson will be presenting to the Board of Education.
